On Aura Tout Vu

Founded by Livia Stoianova, Yassen Samouilov and André de Sá Pessoa, On Aura Tout Vu is a French fashion house that has occupied a singular place within the landscape of contemporary creation for more than two decades. At the crossroads of haute couture, visual art and the performing arts, the house has developed a bold visual language where exceptional embroidery, sculptural volumes, hybrid materials and extraordinary craftsmanship converge.

For the duration of this fashion-focused exhibition, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg invites visitors to discover Paris through a different lens. This unique collaboration brings together two houses united by a shared commitment to excellence, French elegance, creativity and meticulous attention to detail.

Icons: An Immersion into the World of Couture

The exhibition Icons presents a selection of the house’s most emblematic creations.

The spectacular gown embroidered with red and black feathers, displayed in the lobby, was worn by Lady Gaga for the cover of Allure magazine. Another remarkable piece on view is the ivory and gold dress embellished with feathers, pearls and crystals, worn by Lou and the Yakuza during her performance on X Factor Italia.

From the moment they enter the hotel, visitors are welcomed by a majestic turquoise-blue coat. Created for internationally renowned Chinese actor and singer Zhang Zhehan, the coat has become one of his most iconic stage costumes.

Four additional silhouettes from the house’s couture collections complete the exhibition. Displayed in the hotel’s street-facing windows, they can be admired both day and night, offering passers-by a unique glimpse into the creative world of Parisian couture.

Paris, Capital of Luxury and Creation

Through this exhibition, Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg and On Aura Tout Vu celebrate a vision of Paris where fashion, art, luxury and exceptional craftsmanship engage in a natural dialogue.

Each piece on display is unique and was created in On Aura Tout Vu’s ateliers at the Palais-Royal in Paris, in collaboration with some of the finest artisans and specialists in the decorative arts. Embroidery, featherwork, crystal embellishment and couture finishing techniques bear witness to a living heritage that continues to showcase French creativity on the international stage.

On view from 20 June to 20 September at Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, Icons offers a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Paris through the eyes of two emblematic ambassadors of French savoir-faire.
