Blouse Jean
Spring 2023 - The Blouse Jean exhibition aims to defend made-to-measure creation, the modern expression of couture and crafts as well as the creation of high-end French fabrics. It honors the made in France by weaving bridges between tradition and innovation.
A fabric, jean
Jeans are characterized by a twill weave created in the 16th century and made from an unbleached weft of a chain dyed blue, the famous blue of Genoa, blu di Genova, which use transformed into blue jeans.
All the blouses have been made from a unique textile, exceptional linen jeans by Emanuel Lang, a specialist in weaving natural materials using dyed yarns since 1856.
Through its ancestral know-how, the Emanuel Lang house specializes in the weaving of natural materials. Concerned about the environmental impact and eco-responsible, the company surrounds itself with French producers and perpetuates ancestral Alsatian know-how.
A shape, the blouse
The blouse is, originally, a work garment whose function is to protect. The blue blouse is particularly characteristic of the working world.
Creators
The designers who are members of the Fédération Française de la Couture sur Mesure have given themselves the challenge of sublimating the denim blouse. This diversion of an emblematic work outfit into exceptional clothing takes place thanks to a creativity supported by the excellence of the work in Haute Façon. Cut-outs, precious embroideries, transparencies… the Blouse Jean exhibition is a real demonstration of know-how.
The creations are enhanced by jewelry created by designers who are members of the BOCI trade union chamber.
BOCI and the Fédération Française de la Couture sur Mesure are members of the Confederation of Crafts, Excellence and Luxury.
