Sept.- Oct. 2023 – Anne Fontaine’s exhibition Les Années Folles invites you into a festive and sumptuous universe, perfectly elegant and yet daring to the point of provocation.
Window displays on the street celebrate feline beauty. Panther print is airy on delicate silk chiffons, and swirls in spectacular ruffles and scrolls.
Pearls, rhinestones and lamé fabric transform the lobby into a ballroom scene, where outfits assume a taste for luxury and worldly eclecticism. The brilliance of icy blues mingles with the perfect elegance of white, silver and black. In a joyful insouciance, the most romantic of tulle dresses converse with cheekily bare jewel tops. It’s a time for celebration and freedom.
The creations shown are exclusive pieces, made by the finest craftsmen, selected for their savoir-faire and expertise. Anne Fontaine is very sensitive to the arts and crafts, and makes it a point of honour to support the heritage of French craftsmanship and ancestral techniques. In their workshops, artisans give birth to her creations, embroidering and reworking noble materials such as organza and silk with an eye for detail that is dear to the designer.
